Ground-shaking grooves, hammering rhythms and wailing melodies, layered with explosive no-holds-barred improvisations: GORILLA MASK is a type of sonic madness roaring with a restless, implacable energy that totters dangerously on the verge of total chaos. They craft spirals of sound in 4 or 5 dimensions, jabbing you in the ribs as they mess with your brain; the ebb and flow of an acutely aware trio of musicians who know what they want and know how to get it. Canadian ex-pat Peter Van Huffel is a saxophonist out of Coltrane, Ayler and Zorn, but he frames his improvisational forays in the context of a trio with hard rock dynamics, riding the churn of Roland Fidezius' frenetic bass and Rudi Fischerlehner's pulsating drum kit like a surfer on the biggest wave he’s ever seen.

GORILLA MASK is the product of a constantly active, hyper-intelligent hive-mind of three virtuosos; their music a mishmash of punk, rock and metal influences rooted in jazz, free-improvisation and the modern avant-garde. A collision of styles which form the key to the band's identity. This is bold, audacious 21st Century improvised music writ huge, with innumerable influences and tendencies, gritty and urban, intellectual and ready to run a marathon.

Drummer and composer Mark Holub formed Led Bib in 2003 for a university masters project. Made up of his Middlesex university friends, the five piece played its first gig at London’s Klinker Club on February 24th 2004 to ten people in the backroom of a North London pub. Five years later they were performing on primetime TV to millions, having been nominated as a Mercury Prize album of the year. Theirs was a full gas acceleration to that point. Having had their first album met with widespread critical praise in May 2005, they also won the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award in the same year. A second album, Sizewell Tea released in 2007 through iconic London label Babel brought more interest, bigger features, better reviews. There was a notable shift in numbers too, audiences grew as fans cottoned on to a new jazz movement, of which Led Bib was a frontrunner, ditching the noodling and pulling more into rock territory. As they drew references from across the musical spectrum Beefheart and Zorn, Pink Floyd and Miles Davis so too did they draw in a larger swathe of interest, drum and bass heads, jazz aficionados, death metalists and folk, world music and pop fans were, in equal number, their audience.

A limited edition live release appeared in 2008, but it was the release of their 4th album Sensible Shoes that saw them experience widespread acclaim following the announcement that they were chosen as an Album of the Year in the 2009 Barclaycard Mercury Prize. The ensuing media storm saw them reach in excess of 20 million people as they performed on TV & Radio sessions including Channel 4 TV News with Jon Snow, playing live on BBC 2 and found a befuddled and unlikely pundit in Holub being asked to explain the likes of “what is jazz?” to the masses of early morning BBC breakfast radio listeners .

In 2011 the group released Bring Your Own, their second album for US based Cuneiform Records. Quickly hailed as a stand out success it gained 4 and 5 star reviews across the board. 2014 saw the release of two new albums to celebrate their 10th anniversary, the studio album 'The People in Your Neighbourhood' and the limited edition live vinyl 'The Good Egg', both hailed as modern classics and there best yet. 2017 sees the band release their eagerly anticipated 6th studio album and first with genre defying London label Rare Noise Records, a tour of Europe and the UK will be done in support. Will the next 10 years take them on a similarly unpredictable journey? Whatever happens, it’ll be interesting to watch.

... haben sich 1987 gegründet, weil Luey, Mengler und HR schon immer große The Jam Fans waren. Die drei Herren haben zuvor bereits in diversen Hamburger Punkrock und Beatbands
(Napalm, Punkenstein, Razors, Ramonez 77, ...) gespielt. Die einen wussten, wie man Entertainment auf die Bühne und unter die Leute bringt, die anderen, wie man eine Krawatte bindet. Jam Today haben nie versucht, das Original 1:1 zu kopieren. Das wäre albern, vermessen und auch gar nicht zu schaffen. Jam Today hat aber immer danach gestrebt den Spirit und den
Elan ihrer Vorbilder zu erfassen und auf die Bühne zu bringen. Über die Jahre haben Jam Today
diverse Schlagzeuger verschlissen, selbst Alben mit eigenen Songs und Covern aufgenommen und sich in aller schönen Regelmäßigkeit aufgelöst. 2017, also 30 Jahre nach ihrer Gründung,
spielt Jam Today wieder in Original-Cover-Besetzung. Und manche Jam Fans meinen, sie hätten jetzt, auf ihre alten Tage, sogar noch singen gelernt. Und irgendwie haben Jam Today ja auch ziemlich Glück gehabt, dass sich das Original nie zu einer Reunion-Tour hinreißen lassen hat. By the way, Jam Today verzichten gern auf Facebook und ähnlichen modernen Kram. Lang lebe Livemusik. Aaah, und übrigens vergesst nicht zu Paul’s Konzerten zu gehen. Er ist immer noch großartig und schreibt immer noch fantastische Songs. Danke an Paul, Bruce und Rick für ihre Songs... so und jetzt gibt esmit Going Underground, In The City, The Eton Rifles, Down In The Tube Station at Midnight und, und, und Power-Pop-Punk-Rock bis der Anzug klitschnass ist.

As singer and bass player of Joey Ramone’s favourite band, The Boys, Duncan rode on the crest of a wave during punk’s original late-1970s heyday as part of a wider collective of friends and peers that included Sex Pistols, The Clash, Generation X and a host of other power-chord pioneers. The Boys remain one of the best-loved and influential bands of their generation.
Montevideo, from the Big Heads’ debut album Little Big Head, earned Duncan the keys to the Uruguayan capital (the only other musicians to achieve this being Elton John and Paul McCartney).
Following a cornucopia of stellar reviews for 1st album Little Big Head, The Big Heads developed their unique, effortlessly entertaining, melodic brand of harmony laden pop punk with: “The Difficult Second Album”.
This May sees the release of their third album “Bombs Away”. Fourteen catchy little ditties about life, death, paranoia and Viagra.

BLACK MAGIC TREE hat seinen Ursprung in der Vergangenheit, steht im Hier und Jetzt und hat noch nicht aufgehört zu wachsen. Man hört den Rock der 50er, 60er und besonders der guten alten 70er in den Liedern widerhallen, ohne dass der Wandel der Zeit außer Acht gelassen wurde. Wird die Musik dieser goldenen Ära wertgeschätzt und begrüßt, dass heutige Bands bereit sind, dieses Erbe anzutreten, werden die Wurzeln von BLACK MAGIC TREE offen gelegt und dann stehen die Chancen nicht schlecht, dass man sich anschließend im erschafften Wald aus Schall verliert.

We are four friends that grew up in Athens, who came together in Berlin to share something they love. United by shared tastes and quite diverse musical influences, the four of us embarked on a journey into the world of blues rock, with the ambition to make people love it as much as we do. The fundament of our live performances is our energy, on which a mixture of stoner rock riffs and blues rhythms breathe through melodic break downs that end up tasting soulfully intense.

Timo C. Engel performs his atmospheric Lo-Fi pop hymns on stage, sometimes minimalistic sometimes opulent. Let these catchy and whimsical treasures shine in the night.

Martina Bertoni - an Italian born, now Berlin based cellist. Classically trained, she skipped classic music to explore different territories like modern music, improvisation, experimental and electronic music and crossing her path as a fellow performer with many artists like Blixa Bargeld, Teho Teardo, Erik Friedlander, Alexander Balanescu. Meanwhile she goes on recording and performing much music for theater, cinema and dance and she loves it.

New Candys wurden 2008 in Venedig (Italien) gegründet. Die Band bestet aus Fernando Nuti (Gesang, Gitarre, Sitar), Diego Menegaldo (Gesang, Gitarre), Stefano Bidoggia (Bass, Orgel) und Dario Lucchesi (Schlagzeug, Percussion). Sie wurden von The Velvet Underground und Syd Barrett beeinflusst. Nach einer selbst produzierten EP veröffentlichten sie im Jahr 2012 das Album "Stars Reach The Abyss".

Kurz darauf folgte eine Tour durch UK. 2015 nahmen New Candys an "The Reverb Conspiracy" teil, die von Fuzz Club / The Reverberation Appreciation Society (Levitation Austin) organisiert wurde. Später in diesem Jahr erschien das Album "New Candys As Medicine". Es folgten zweit weitere Touren durch Europa und UK Touren folgten. New Candys traten unter anderem auf den Festivals wie The Secret Garden Party 2015 und Liverpoool Psych Fest 2016 auf. Sie teilten die Bühne mit The Warlocks, Dead Skeletons, Crystal Stilts, Slowdive, Savages, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion und The Vaccines u.v.m.

More Punkshows!Unermüdlich seit 1998 bahnt sich die coole und atmosphärische Lava der Kilaueas eine Bahn durch sämtliche Clubs der Welt und unaufhaltsam speit dieser Vulkan immer neue und glühende Surfbrocken in die tanzende und schreiende Menge. 60er Jahre style Instrumental Surf, wie man ihn aus Filmen wie Pulp Fiction kennt! Jedoch mit Punk Appeal zum Besten gegeben.

Der magmaphonische Sound der vier gut gekleideten Herren lässt die Wellen der Surf-Seismographen wild ausschlagen. Melodien die man zwar kennt, aber nicht immer erkennt. Ein explosiver und erderschütternder Ausbruch von bekannten und neuen Instrumentals direkt aus dem heißen Berliner Underground. Laut, wild, sexy und tanzbar!

 Dieses Jahr die dritte 3wöchige USA Tour, viele weitere Konzerte und Veröffentlichung der Vinyl 7inch "The Men From M.E.N.S.C.H.". Am 6ten Longplayer wird gearbeitet!
